Trade log saved on hard disk?

I ran into an issue today trading on a rithmic connection for a prop firm evaluation account. I believe rithmic may have entered a position after I had already closed Sierra Chart and caused me to fail the evaluation. I tried to look for the trades in the trade log but it seems to have been cleared when I opened Sierra Chart again. Is there any copy of the trade log saved on hard disk? Or any record of connecting/disconnecting from trade services or closing Sierra Chart?

All of the trades should be in your Trade Activity Log. But the information in the log depends on getting the information from your trading service. So it's possible that some information is not in there, particularly if you were not running Sierra Chart when an order was put in, or a fill occurred, as most trading services do not hold onto that information for very long.

The only reason the Trade Activity Log would be empty is if it was specifically deleted, or if you changed the path for the logs.

Refer to the following to ensure that you have the filters set properly at the top of the Trade Activity Log to be able to see what you want:
Trade Activity Log: Viewing Historical Trade Activity

If you are still not seeing anything in the log, then see if the files for the log are still on your system. They will be in a folder named "TradeActivityLogs" which is located under your Main Sierra Chart installation folder (typically C:\SierraChart). If this folder is empty, then somehow the logs were deleted.

There is no other specific information on when logs are deleted or connecting/disconnecting.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Hi John, thanks that seems to have resolved my questions. Looking at the trade activity log, the trade in question seems to have been a historical fill with no internal order id so I guess it was loaded from rithmic. Now that I have the evidence the ball is in the prop firm's court...
