[BUG] DOM Studies - Custom Study - High/Low for Period

Custom Study is not one I wrote, it is one of the studies that comes with SierraChart I notice this study keeps getting hidden by the DOM, unless I keep making the DOM window wider... I am using Text as display What happens is that the duplicates of this study where the start time is earlier get hidden over time, unless you make the window wider, and the ones that have a later starting date continue to show up, but then too get hidden after a while, unless you make the window wider... We are not understanding the particular setup you are trying to do. Is this a Trading DOM? If so, then anything you are seeing is just luck. The Trading DOM does not have the same concept of bars as a standard Chart. There is why the standard list of studies is so short. You can place other studies on it, but they are not guaranteed to work. That's exactly right. That's unfortunate! Is there any way that you guys can add some studies to the DOM to be able to auto-label High/Low from some time period in the current session (incl. overnight) ? At the moment I will have to keep updating my labels manually across my DOMs... |

To do what you want, you would need to create a chart that has the particular time period you want and put a study on to show the lines you want (such as the "Daily OHLC"). Set the subgraphs Draw Style as "Subgraph Name and Value Labels Only". Then use the "Study/Price Overlay" to overlay that study from the chart to the Trading DOM.
