Numbers Bars: Column # Percent Compare Thresholds

In my NumBars study, Column 2 is not being used in my study. However, Column 2 Percent Compare Threshold seems to control Column 3's data (delta). It took me a while to troubleshoot this unusual behaviour. Please advise.

Now that I know, I can accept the fact that when column 2 has no text or background display, that the % Compare numbers #2 actually control column 3. Heads up to anyone experiencing this discrepancy.
