I am building a Tool based on Volume by Price study according to Volume By Price Study Can I create a volume profile of separate bid and ask colors across a 10-segment gradient? i.e. use both the Color Code Volume Bars Based on Percentage of POC *and* Bid Volume and Ask Volume Coloring Method ? The idea is to see bid and ask volume at each price level by colored visual intensity across the bars being profiled. Thanks |

Did you manage to do this? It is possible to do so with the Number Bar study but I would like to do the same with a volume profile.

I think what I was trying to do was see separate bid and ask, each by color intensity of bid vs highest bid vol and ask vs highest ask vol for the bar, using a single VP, which Support has said is not possible. Lmk if you get something working. Note that in VbP’s Delta mode, the built-in 10-segment VbP color range shows *delta* from lowest to highest. This is something different of course, but helpful. |
