I'm exploring some automation and have run into something I can't find a good solution to. I normally work in spreadsheets but in this case the Trade Management by Study study seems more appropriate. I want to use a stop *entry* order, and it needs to follow a subgraph until filled. But, the Trade Management by Study study appears to only allow for controlling attached stops on a live position., you can't have it control a stop entry that isn't yet filled. Is there any way without coding something custom in ACSIL, to manage a stop entry programmatically? |

Yeah I'm not skilled enough to dive deep into C++. Thanks though.

You should be more than skilled enough. This is not difficult. Give it a try. You will see it is not difficult.

OK, I might try it out and see. I can hack code a little bit so with the source provided, maybe I can figure it out. Thanks for the encouragement!

This can be done using a custom study by Frederik at Simple System Trading. The study is called Trade Entry Assistant. https://sst.lemonsqueezy.com/

I recall looking at that and for some reason I can't currently recall, that study didn't do what I needed it to do. But I gave up on the whole pursuit anyway so don't really remember.
