I decided to update from version 1109 to 1151 today and noticed that volume displayed changed. I have stayed with version 1109 because the changes made to subsequent versions did not really matter to me. I decided to update because I thought there may be new features that I may be able to use. Is the volume showing on the volume bars the actual volume? There are now 6 digits where it used to be just 4 digits. To illustrate, if there were 100,000 shares traded, with version 1151 it shows 100000 while in version 1109 it showed 1000. This change increased the chart space occupied by volume because it displays 6 digits. Also, if this is now the case, I will have to delete and download all the stock charts I have because the previous days' volume data are not comparable for me to see if there was an increase in volume. Since I have hundreds of charts, this could be time consuming and a lot of pacing violations on IB. Can you confirm this? |

We will solve this problem. The volume for historical data for stocks other than the last 10 minutes is actual volume. So we will adjust the IB historical data volume and the real-time data volume by 100 to match.
