Hi Guys,

I am needing help on a multiple study program...

I have posted a link below for a sceenshot to review... As you will see there is 2 studies on top of each other. First are the normal studies then a BACKGROUND of COLOR CODED which I want to change color at specific levels as described below...

http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1403557669399.png

I need the Stochastic overlay to change color when the %D is above (green) or below (Pink) "50" level

I need the RSI overlay to change color when the RSI Line is above (green) or below (Pink) "50" level

I need the MACD overlay to change color when the MACD Line is above (green) or below (Pink) the "0" level

Thank you for your help as always,

Team One

Can anyone help us set these studies up correctly?

Try this:
Instead of a second instance of each study for the background color, use an instance of the Study Subgraph Subtract study for each background:
-Set the Based On to the relative study
-Set the Chart Region to the same as the relative study
-Set the Input Data to the chosen subgraph
-Set the Amount to Subtract to 50 for the Stochastics and RSI, and 0 for the MACD.
-Set the Draw Style to Background
-Set the Auto-Coloring to Based on +/-

Thanks tomgilb worked great!

One more that I cannot figure out is on the MACD instead of the 0 crossover background color - I would like when the %K & %D crossover to make the background color?

I don't understand this. Please explain.

You said prior to: Study Subgraph Subtract study for each background

Set the Amount to Subtract to 50 for the Stochastics and RSI, and 0 for the MACD... I did...BUT

I wanted to color the background +/- on the crossover of the actual %k & %D line crossing each other, not when the %K line crosses the ZERO line?

Not sure how to set that study correctly...

For this, use the Color Bar Based On Above/Below Study study
-Set the Based On to the Stochastics
-Set the Chart Region to the same as the Stochastics
-Set the Input Data to the %K
-Set the Study Reference to the Stochastics - %D
-Set the Draw Style to Background
