guys, I dont want to stress you too much. Still I would like to again underline the importance this would have. so if there is any chance on doing this with TeleT, PLEASE PLEASE try. comparing trading the FESX is like being blind compared to trading the ES eg without the internals. |

We did hear earlier from TeleTrader about this and this is what was said: if you do the calculations and redistribute the data German Exchange would require you to have a "Non Display License for External Distribution" amounting to €1836 per Month for Xetra and Frankfurt. I guess that is no option?
So we would have to charge extra for this and make sure we have enough to cover it. So how much interest is there? Even if we have 100 customers paying €10 a month, it is not enough. And we do not think we would have 100 customers interested in this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. one final question to this. If I would subscribe to TTrad´s data feed. Would I be able to create a $TICK (and AD Line, but Tick is more important) myself with studies and/or spread sheets? and if so this means that also you could provide me with that, right? So even if you would provide the calculation I (and you) should not have to pay any other charges than what I would pay for the data feed I have (of course I would need to have a subscription to the feed). Because I might calculate everything myself as well (if question a) is a yes). ?? Thx!! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-12-16 08:13:00

In response to post #31 it is not that simple. You would need to receive data on all of the symbols on the exchange and you probably would end up going over the symbol limit trying to do this. And there needs to be special code to do the calculations that would have to be customized for TeleTrader. There is a lot of work to put all of this together. I see. still I think that if you would provide the $Tick for subscribers of the TeTr feed only, there should be no further charge. anyway, very much appreciate your efforts! |

Hello, I know this thread is dead for a long time but I would like to refresh it. My question is simple: What is the difference between doing $TICK indicator for NYSE and doing it for EUREX or any other market? I know you need internal data from the exchange thus the question where is a problem of doing equivalent of $Tick indicator for European markets, if its already working in US? Thank you for any input regarding this matter.

I know you need internal data from the exchange thus the question where is a problem of doing equivalent of $Tick indicator for European markets, Yes it is our plan to begin to offer this for the major European exchanges hopefully later in the year. But maybe it will not be until early next year assuming we are successful.
