This kind of session analysis functionality would be very useful addition to the excellent Sierra Chart software. Would Sierra be able to implement similar indicators to the ones referenced here:

http://www.linnsoft.com/homework

IRT makes it relatively easy for a trader to see how often a market closes gaps etc without needing to learn how to code. Please consider adding similar functionality or tutorials on how this can be done with Sierra.

Thanks

Is this something you would consider?

hi

I used I/RT for years, so ...

in order to be honest would you ask Mr. Linn to add some trading functionality to IR/T vs SC already has?

:)

cheers ...

Sorry but I don't understand the question. I'm a big fan off Sierra and hope to use and pay for this software for a long time. I do see value in the advanced market stats in my link hence my request for SC to consider something similar.

Thanks

Happy to talk. I am looking for statistics including the following:

- Change By Day Of Week
- How often does price gap up or down on a given instrument ? And when it does, how often is that gap closed?
- What is the maximum distance that price moves from the open of the day session each day?
- What is the average max move?
- What is the median max move?
- How often does price open in previous days range?
- When opening opening in range, how often does it touch both the previous days high and low?

Many thanks
