Study in spreadsheet does not update

I've created a spreadsheet as described here
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_SystemsAlerts.php#GeneralInformation

with those simple formulas (price above or below simple MA), but it doesn't seem working properly. Take a look at the attached spreadsheet screen. It looks like MA values do not update in the spreadsheet, but do update on the chart though. As a result I miss some alerts or receive wrong ones. What could possibly go wrong? Chart and spreadsheet settings screens are also attached. Thanks.

We see you are using the non-CLR version of Sierra Chart. Update Sierra Chart with Help >> Download Current Version.

In order to make it clear as to the correct columns the study data is being outputted to, delete all of the study data from columns beginning with AA out to where the last study is. Click on the column headers and press the Delete key to do this.

After this go to the chart and select Chart >> Recalculate.

Let us know if you need more help.

Well, .NET version is working perfectly. Thanks for your prompt help. When you expect non-CLR spreadsheets become fully operational?(Asking, b/c I've migrated to non-CLR for some serious reasons...) Maybe you can give me a hint how to create a chart study for MA cross instead of spreadsheet one? It should be very similar to SC MACD xover study (with choice of MAs though). I asked about that yesterday in separate topic. Thanks.

We do not see a problem like this on the non-CLR version. Do you notice this problem on the latest non-CLR version which is 1148?

However, we need to be certain you are looking at the correct column on the Spreadsheet. This is impossible for us to tell because you have a very complex chart. When providing an image of a chart, it needs to be very simple. So there should only be two studies on the chart. The Moving average study and the Spreadsheet study.

What do you want to have happen when moving averages cross?

I didn't try 1148 non-CLR but I will. The version was 1146. Sorry, point about uploaded charts is taken. And yes, it definitely was a correct column (study ID14 which is SMA). In regards of MA cross, I'd like to have a visual signal and sound alert after close of the bar (at the start of the next bar, so offset should 1 bar). At least for now. But I'm planning to develop a complex automated strategy and also would like MA cross to be a part of it in the future. Thanks.

One simple way to do this, is to use the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s245

It does not support automated trading, but can color bars and give you a sound alert.

OK. I'll check it out.
I'm trying 1148 non-CLR right now and studies in spreadsheets aren't updating again. This time all of them, except VWAP study. Though I did check only MA yesterday. Do you need screens?

We see the problem now. We had not run a test with the chart continuously updating.

There are some major changes going on internally in the spreadsheet this last week. We will have this problem resolved.

OK. No problemo. I'm now rolling back to .NET. Color bar study doesn't work for me as well. Followed instructions but had no result. Didn't get a colored bar so far. Don't know what is wrong. Please see screens attached.

Yes, maybe a wrong condition. I tried =CROSSOVER(ID11.SG1, ID12.SG1)

Condition =CROSSOVER(ID11.SG1, C) is working and I'm getting colored bars based on slope. Fixed.

Please let me know once issues in non-CLR are solved. That Colored bar study is quite limited (e.g. I can't set an arrow) and I need some time to get used to colored bars. I've attached screens of trading MA indicator I want. Hope you will finally decide to develop it. And hope you will keep my request confidential. Thanks.
