Is it possible to make MESA Adaptive Moving Average a regular study and not a User Contributed Study? I am not its creator but do find it useful.

Is it listed in the User Contributed Studies in Analysis >> Studies >> Add Custom Study? If so, why would it make a difference as to where it is listed?

May be it is just me but I guess you do not remove any of the user contributed studies during updates, etc.?

However, we are not seeing it listed. Might have been an old Kiwi study.

If you find the source code for it on this Support Board or the old support board, then we can add it.

You are right. This is an old thread started in 2008 ... https://www.sierrachart.com/supportboard/showthread.php?t=17446

As I am not its creator, I am not sure whether it is indeed the MESA. Reference material is here: http://www.mesasoftware.com/Papers/MAMA.pdf

The last entries in mama.cpp and mama.txt from the 2008 thread seems to match the reference material.

Thanks for the trouble.

Downloading the latest version 1169 - hoping to see the MAMA indicator moved to the main Study window.

The downloading of update is slow. Is it related to the various issue with the update or the problem is at my end?

Ok, downloaded and installed version 1169.

Any chance of moving the MAMA study to the main section and not leave it in the Custom Study section?

It seems that this MAMA study is not in the Custom Studies or regular studies collection anymore? Can this be added again given the above files please?

Found it in v1879. Try Add Custom Study >> User Contributed Studies >> MAMA
