I am running a trial version of TeleTrader data feed for Asian stock market.
I couldn't find HK & Singapore stock market, should I refer to SC or TeleTrader?

Could you contact TeleTrader and ask them to make sure that your TeleTrader account has access to the HK & Singapore stock markets.

Thanks for your kind supports.
I settled the issue by upgrade to latest pre-release version.

But I found another new issue, SMA100 seem didn't calculate correctly.
I realized that TeleTrader does have some bad tick, but those few bad tick shouldn't made SMA100 run out so much.

Attachment is my current charting software with SMA100, it is a lot smoother.
(which I want to drop it long ago... I am using it until now because I couldn't get Asian stock market datafeed for Sierrachart)

If you need a copy of daily data of this chart, please let me know.

Can you please attach the Historical Daily data file for that symbol of the chart, to this thread. You can see the file when you select File >>New/Open Historical Chart.

Here are the instructions to attach a file:

We see the problem. Go to Edit >> Edit Data-Historical Chart.

You will notice that sometimes the close price is 0. This is throwing off the calculations.

Go to the Moving Average study and set the Input Data input to High Low Average (HL Avg). You probably should contact TeleTrader and see why they are providing 0 sometimes for the closing price of a daily bar.

We have heard from TeleTrader. They had a question about this. They did not know what the symbol was and we told them what it was. We expect they will resolve the problem soon.

TeleTrader has said that we need to ignore the Settlement price with the historical data for stocks and instead use the Close price. So we will do that in the next release. This will be coming out today and this will solve the problem.

After updating you will need to re-download the data in the Historical charts which do not have correct prices, by going to the chart and selecting Edit >> Delete All Data and Download.

However, clearly this is an issue on the TeleTrader side and we should not have to change anything in our code. This does not make any sense. They are clearly are providing incorrect settlement price values. And we should not have to be checking the security type and determine whether the settlement price should be used or not. This should all be managed on the TeleTrader side. There should only be a close price value and we just use that and they should set that properly.

The previous logic is that if the Settlement price is nonzero we use it , otherwise we use the Close price.
