Hi,

I am likely going to sign up for Sierra's real time datafeed tomorrow. I just have a few questions:

When selecting an exchange fee without market depth (eg: CME without market depth - $3.25 / month), does that simply mean that there will be no level 2 data on the DOM. You'll see the inside bid:ask with no further levels. Everything else such as numbers bars, volume profile etc will work correctly?

Will selecting CME with no market depth affect market replay at all? Will a market replay including numbers bars still work?

You mention requiring a live account with a supported trading service. In the case of Topstep Trader when doing their combines, you are either connected to Rithmic Paper trading or CTS. Does that mean you cannot use Sierra's live feed because it is Rithmic paper trading?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. This is correct.

No matter what CME exchange you enable if any, it has no effect on market replay or Numbers Bars.

You cannot use a Rithmic paper trading account or CTS simulation account. You must have a live funded account.

Thank you for the reply. However I have heard of people using the Sierra datafeed for their data while doing Topstep trader combines. I will contact one trader who comes to mind with this setup so I can clarify. Maybe I misunderstood something.

In the case of Top Step Trader, using a Rithmic paper trading account should be OK but we need to allow that.

So the market depth option charged extra by CME affects no study or volume analysis of any kind regarding the data feed? It is simply just the bid/ask numbers sitting at the prices in the DOM only? If this is the case and I do not use that, then what is the easiest way to drop down to the basic $3.25 fee? Thanks.

Yes. Yes.

We have deactivated on your account:
Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for Trading accounts

It is effective until the end of this month but will not automatically renew. At the start of December in the Chicago time zone, and not any earlier, activate the 3.25 CME exchange fee.
