there are exchange-tradable options strategy which often have bizzare symbol like : UD:T$: ST 0405968047.CBOT I understand this is not supported because SC uses OS file names for symbols historically (since what? 2004?) Is it possible to create a text file which will translate symbols in free form into file names and read it before access the file? surely markets are getting more complex and sooner or later you will have to do this anyway.. for me the sooner the better. |

Symbols like this are currently supported. Open the symbol through File >> Find Symbol. Manually enter the symbol.
