Dukascopy connection on Sierra Chart

After some communication, Sierra Chart development team has agreed to complete their already existing Dukascopy realtime datafeed support to a full integration via FIX protocol, including full order handling and historical data (a permanent demo account will be handled by Dukascopy for this purpose)

The only counterpart is part sharing of the development costs by end users, that is to say $500. I'm attaching a ticket screenshot as proof.
Given that fact, they engage to complete the connection coding within 30 calendar days.

I would like to know if other people are interested to backup this project ?
$500 is little but there's no reason I would pay for it all as many will benefit from the feature.

Dukascopy has grown out immensely within the last year. All environments and tools they created or improved are now close to perfection and probably the best spot FX offer out there. To top it all, CFD trading is planned to be added late 2014, beginning 2015 and that trading would also be covered by the Sierra connection, once available

Anyway, please express yourself here if interested.
Thanks for your time

Does the 100K account minimum apply, if you want to use Sierra + Dukascopy with a FIX connection? I would clarify this before putting work in. See:

Following Dukascopy's policy, a $50k minimum can apply as long as a development to $100k is reached within a few months.
Info confirmed.

This is not for everyone. Getting a FIX connection from Dukascopy will require a 50,000 to 100,000 account.

Just a note that after some communication, Dukascopy agrees to give a FIX connexion (required for the SC integration) to customers with a balance down to $50k instead of $100k

Besides, FIX demos are available for 15 days

Still nobody interested, trading with such amount of money, for a solid broker ?

what you need to do to use the data from Dukascopy

We need to pay SC development team $500 development fees, wait for the development (a month maximum), get a FIX connexion from Dukascopy (either through a $50 000 live account or 15 day demo trial)

Do you want to participate at the $500 development fees ?

Is it possible to take out a subscription month-with no account.I would use this as a source of market data.

You could use a demo account for this purpose, but first the connection needs to be developped and the $500 gathered (cost to be shared amongst voluntary users : are you in ?)

No. This is total history. We will not touch this or any Forex trading service again.

Ok, thanks. Does LMAX differentiate from a Forex Trading Service?

Well LMAX, was supported many years ago. And they are also an exchange.

If you want to pay for this development, we can certainly refer you to someone to do the work as long as you are willing to fully pay the cost. This is something we are willing to do.

Well I have already enquired about a Sierra to JForex copier.. but it would not be as reliable as just using the feed on Sierra itself. So I am quite interested.. please provide more details

The first thing you will need to do is to contact Dukascopy and find out what the monthly cost of a FIX connection is and see if this whole thing is going to be worth it.

The cost for us for the trading integration is just going to be a one-time expense. But the ongoing cost of the FIX connection is something you have to consider.
