I am trying to display the weeky pivots on the daily chart. Looks like it is working, except that the lines only display on the right side of the chart. How can I make them go all the way across?

Thanks

Use the study Pivot Points-Variable Period:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_PivotPoints.html#s223

And set the Time Period Length and Type inputs to 1 Week.

And set the Number of Days To Calculate input to a value greater than 7.

I believe I have done all that, but the chart still looks like it did before. Can you see a discrepancy in the attached JPG? Thanks

Tried that, with this result. Am I expecting something that is not in Sierra Charts? All I want is one line, all the way across the chart for each of the current weekly pivots. Thanks

It is working properly now. Why do you think it is not working properly? Today is a Monday so for this week you will only see a line across the Monday bar since there is only one day in this week so far.

I am not interested in seeing the pivots from past weeks. Other platforms show the current pp displayed across the whole chart. To my eye, all those old pivot lines are clutter and confuse. Can Sierra Chart show just the current week but draw the line all the way across? Thx

This is not supported.

We cannot even recall if anyone ever asked for this previously. So therefore at best it has been rarely asked for.

Actually, there is a solution to this. Set the Displacement setting on each of the Subgraphs with the Pivot Points study to -20.

Set the Forward Project Pivot Point Lines input to Yes. This will give you close to what you want.
