Color Background on Alert only coloring background on last bar

Hi

I have attached a PDF that will hopefully explain my question.
I have an alert to color background when conditions on current bar a met compared to the previous bar, I don't think there is an issue with my formula because it works.
I have set it to calculate for 10 bars, why do the previous bars that met the condition disappear and only the condition on the current is colored.

Should it not leave the last 10 bar backgrounds colored if the conditions were met?

We do not know why you are seeing this. Offhand, it must be something about your condition and the studies that it is referencing that is causing this.

If you can get us a copy of the chart we can take a quick look at it and see what we can determine. Refer to the following for how to get us the chart:

The problem is with the study Current Price Line. You have this set to only display on 2 bars. Therefore all other bars are set to 0, which makes your condition false for all bars except the most recent 2 bars. Change the Input for Number of Bars to Display On for the Current Price Line to 11 (just to make sure you are completely covered).
