Hey, so I've been using Spreadsheets for some time - and I always use color bar, or color background, when I have a spreadsheet column I want to highlight on the chart.
Unfortunately, none of the other options ever work for me. For instance, I'd really like to place a dot above or below a candle when a certain spreadsheet column is triggered.
But Nothing ever shows up for me when I do this. Only the color bar and background options work.
Is there a way to fix this, maybe some setting that needs to be changed?

Thanks, -Ben

What you need to keep in mind is that Subgraphs display the data (whatever drawing type you choose) at that price level. So if you are just doing a True/False test and using 1/0 (for example) then when you have a True value you are displaying the information at a price level of 1 (a zero typically means to not display the information at all).

Therefore, you need to have the cells give you the value for where you want to display the information. Then you can use any of the drawing styles that place some kind of marker. Using the example from above, if you are doing a True/False test, you would need to change it to an "IF()" statement that returns the value where you want to place the marker. For example:
=IF(condition, ID0.SG2, 0)

When your condition is true you will get a marker at the high of the bar (ID0.SG2 is the high of the main price data).
