Trouble connecting to data feed

Hey,

As the title says I'm having trouble connecting to my data feed, I have a rithmic demo from AMP Futures and I spoke to them to see if they could try and resolve it but they have advised me that it's not the data feed but the software since the log in credentials worked on their copy of Sierra Charts.

I have attached a screen shot of the message log.

You cannot use a Rithmic demo account. Rithmic blocks those from connecting.

Only live accounts can be used.

Rithmic demo accounts are as good as worthless.

I don't understand, I have been using a rithmic demo account for a whole month prior.

I would have thought the guys at AMP futures would have known this.

They even advertise the rithmic demo on their site and claim that it works with Sierra Charts see attached.

The error you are getting is "OS error".

There can be various causes of that . Refer to step 15 here:

Rithmic is supported but demo accounts almost never work. So we make it clear from the beginning, that they do not work so as to avoid an unnecessary struggle with them that results in the user never being able to connect on a demo account.
