Hello, sorry to disturb you,

I have dowmload a chartbook from a friend. But the account sim1 has gone.

I see is Name aacount now and I can t take any simulated position now.

You know what s the problem ?

You are not in Simulation Mode, rather your Current Selected Service is set to Trading Evaluator and when you are connected to the Trading Evaluator, you can not enter Simulation Mode. This has nothing to do with your friends Chartbook, but if you also used his Configuration file, then it is possible that this caused a change.

If you do not want to be connected to the Trading Evaluator and you are just using the Delayed Streaming Data, or the Forex and CFD live data, then you should set your Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service to SC Data - All Services. This will allow you to select Trade Simulation Mode On and have the Sim1 account.

Otherwise, if you have setup the Trading Evaluator - Delayed service to have an account named Sim1, then you should be connected to that service and make sure you select the proper account. Refer to the following for how to select your account (if you have more than one):
