Are Recent Bid Volume and Recent Ask Volume the wrong colors? [ie shouldn't Bid volume be red] What am i missing here? How can i change them? [it's late friday perhaps i'm having a senior moment] thanks, |

Are Recent Bid Volume and Recent Ask Volume the wrong colors? Yes.How can i change them? With the TradeDOM Profit & Loss Up and the TradeDOM Profit & Loss Down options under the Global Settings -> Graphics Settings -> Colors and ChartFont tab.SC abandoned this project prematurely without cause. They left it in a mess. They keep saying they'll fix it. They haven't yet. All they've done so far is add documentation about the screwed-up color controls and they've added an ill-conceived reset option. |

Fix what specifically? This is certainly news to us. We do not know what to fix and we do not ever remember saying we would fix it. We do not know what is being referred to here. We do plan to add separate color settings. Other than this, we do not know why it is considered a "mess". That definitely cannot be regarded as a fair comment other than in regard to colors. The functionality definitely does work properly. And we do not consider this abandoned. It may not do everything you want, but that should not mean it is abandoned. And in regards to the reset option, eventually we will get adding a button, however that may be still a couple of months off. Yes, the functionality has been flawless. The "mess" only concerns the user interface. Sorry that I didn't make that clear.And in regards to the reset option, eventually we will get adding a button I characterize the current reset option as "ill-conceived" only because it is not readily accessible from the TradeDOM (or ChartDOM) window. It's only accessible from the Trade Window, which is inconvenient for some users, as evidenced by various posts here in the forum.It seems to me that a "Clear Recent Bid/Ask" option could be added to some pull-down menu on the TradeDOM, or added to some right-click context menu on the TradeDOM. (I don't see any place where you could put a "button" on the TradeDOM.) |

Thanks User19455. I'm not sure I would've found that color change sequence, it was late my head was starting to spin :) To chime in on the "Clear Recent Bid/Ask" option; If I understand the proposed 'clear' functionality correctly, If implemented I think it should be a button. "Clear Recent Bid/Ask" is order flow related, so there's no time to be opening menus. A look at the JIGSAW add on for Ninja should provide some good guidance on new execution functionality [pulling and stacking in addition to the recent bid/ask] and interface [Sierra please delete this post if I shouldn't be mentioning other software -- I'll then re-post without the reference] I'm new here so I'll take opportunity to say I think Sierra Chart is superbly engineered. I have some software background and it's clear Sierra is clean and fast and light. Really good job, good ethos. |

In the latest Sierra Chart version, there are now separate color settings for Recent Bid Volume and Ask Volume for the chart/Trade DOM.
