The problem is that you are using an "Intraday Only" chart and wanting to see weekly data. We assume that you have set the Bar Period to be 7 days then.

But the system does not actually recognize this as a "Week", but rather as just 7 days. Therefore you would have to make sure that your From date for your Data Range is set to a Monday so you will then get weekly bars that start on a Monday.

Hi All -

Having the same issue - the problem is, when I set to Historical Chart, the Number Bar data zeros out (0x0).

I tried changing the date range but it just resets back to 2023-02-24.

Days to Load (when selected as an option) doesn't seem to help either.

I'm just looking to see significant imbalances on the weekly chart (M-F), starting 4:00a ET on Monday to 8:00p ET Friday.

Any further clarification and instruction is much appreciated.

Thanks!

You need to use an Intraday chart, you cannot use an Historical chart for the Numbers Bars. To ensure this, set "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Chart Data Type" to "Intraday Chart Only". This way, whatever bar period you select will use the intraday data only.

From there, you need to use the "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Load Data Limiting Method: Date Range" to set a from date that is a Monday. And then set your Bar Period to be 7 days. You will then get weekly bars.

We do not understand what you are trying to show in the video.

You have the chart setup as 2.50 range bars. If you want to see a weekly Numbers Bars, then you need to set the Bar Period to 7 days and then set the starting date on the day of the week you want the data to start from.

The Numbers Bars study does not show 0x0 for prices where no trading occurred. It just displays that as a blank line.
