May be it would be a good idea to hide the PL on
1. Trade Window (2 places)
2. Order Line on the chart

This would be great. I have asked for this before... didn't go anywhere of course. I can't tell you how many times in a trade there was simply no good reason to exit, but I was like "oooh couple of hundred bucks of profit, better take it". then proceed to kick myself when it would have been couple thousands soon after.

Dear Sierra Chart, if we don't want to see money dancing in front of our eyes, it should be our choice

Refer to the following (specifically the "Do Not Display" option):
Chart Settings: Profit/Loss Format (List) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu)
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Sorry--I know this is an old thread, but would there be any way to assign this to toggle (a. show in ticks/b. do not display) through a control bar button? I want to be able to easily show/hide P/L on my order window without digging through menus.

Since the Chart Setting>Trading>Visual>Profit/Loss Format options are in a sub-menu list, I'm not seeing a way to assign this to a button/hotkey.

Thank you.

There is not a way to exactly what you are wanting.

What you could do is create a custom study that displays the P/L somewhere on the screen and you could toggle that display on/off. Refer to the following:
