How to stop request for symbol data from IB with 'No Market Data Permissions'

If I ask for an intraday chart for a symbol that I have 'No Market Data Permission' for from IB it takes about 4 minutes to stop. Is there a way that I can cancel this (other than closing and opening SC) I have Data/Trade Service Settings - Historical Data Timeout set to the lowest posible: 1 min |

You need to close the chart and then select File >> Disconnect and File >> Connect to Data Feed.
