i think this is becouse of the new service to overcome the limit of IB request data download...but doing so i think to use data from your servers also when i am conncted with IB so the requests to your servers are summed with the request when i am connected directly with your server...i suppose...but they couldn' be summed...

There is a limit of 700 downloads per day at package 3 for the Sierra Chart Historical Data service, for certain categories of downloads. How many symbols are you tracking?

Usually 700 downloads per day is more than enough.

i made a list:
aud,cad chf eur gbp jpy cl gc hg si ng zb zc zl zm zs zw and also the principal cross about 37 cross rates. yesterday also some indices and soft but not so many let's say 15 more...
in total less or more 70...but how it works? every time i made an update for one asset it will count off the 700 downloads?

It is hard to say why you ran it into a limit without seeing the Message Log. That small set of symbols should not cause a problem. And a limit will not apply to many of those symbols.

Are you running into a limit now?

OK, the Continuous Futures Contract feature can cause this to occur especially if you are loading many years of data. This is the explanation for it. However, once the data is downloaded once for the prior futures contract months, then those additional downloads will not occur again.
