Hello Sierra Chart Team, I want to purchase a service package of SC soon and I wanna trade the Micro Future DAX. I would like to know when I see the trading dom and I see all the buy orders and sell orders who is on the other side when I place trades? Is it a market maker or is it AMP Futures or do I trade with other people or directly at the stock exchange Eurex in Germany? Because I have the following fear (and somebody told me) that when I place a order the market maker will place orders in the other direction so that I loose constantly money when trading the micro Dax future because there is also not so much liquidity. Or do this market maker just hedge every position and they don't care if I win or loose money with them? Many thx in advance and I would be more than happy to receive an answer. Best Regards BK |

You are trading against other orders in the market. So this would be other people. Whether some of that liquidity is from a market maker or not we would not know. The exchange can answer this.

thx you for your answer. One more question if you allow...when i trade in the demo mode do the other trade participants/market maker see me that I trade in demo mode or do I look like to them like a normal participant. I ask because if I wanna know if I get a normal treatment or a maybe a special one and that is the reason why I am successful in the demo mode?

Hello support team, many thx for your help so far. I wanna purchase a service package of sierra charts but I am not sure which one to chose for my trading. I want to open up an account with AMP Futures and I thought I use there the offered data feed CQD. I wish to trade the Micro Dax Future from the Eurex exchange in Germany. What service package would you recommend from Sierra Charts? I am not sure if I need in addition the Denali datafeed when I would chose with AMP Futures the datafeed CQD? Can you pls help me? Many thx in advance and I love Sierra Charts its a great programm! Best Regards Boris Kraft |

Hello support team, I have read about the issues with CQD and therefore I would prefer to use Denali datafeed. But AMP Futures wants to chose me between three datafeeds and none of them is Denali datafeed. So what should I tell them? I don't want rithmic I dont want CQD and I don't want TT but Denali datafeed is that possible? Many thx in advance Best Regards Boris from Germany |

Nobody can see your demo trades, and anyone watching you trade Micro DAX will not really care about you and they will not hunt you. If you have 100s to 1000s position size in normal DAX, then maybe. You should always choose the Denali data feed. SC don't have their own order routing on Eurex at the moment, so you need Denali, combined with just CQC order routing on AMP. For me, I use Denali for data and SC charts, but have TT for execution because I'm too used to that DOM, which has things SC doesn't unfortunately or I would love to change. |
