Most software has an arrow or highlights current price if the last (i.e. current) candle is visible on the chart and if the chart continues to the right so the current candle is NOT the last visible candle on the chart (because the chart needs to be shifted to catch the current candle) then the arrow is missing or the current price is not highlighted.

However Sierra highlights the current price regardless if the last candle is visible or hidden and at times that has caught me out when I thought I am looking at a live chart. The "slider" on the bottom looks like the chart is hard right hand side when in fact prices are running off the chart.

Could we please have it that if the chart is not showing the current candle then the price in not highlighted? When using a lot of charts it is easy to have a dead chart that appears live and that leads to wrong decision making.

There is another way to determine this. It is documented here:

There is an indicator at the lower right of the chart indicating whether you are scrolled to the end of the chart or not.

Hmm, that's not much help when it's located in the bottom right corner because when a lot of charts are used we have only two options to get more screen real estate... overlap the charts so the values scale doesn't show which also hides the indicator, or tick the option to hide the values scale... which also removes the indicator.

It's a good option to be able to hide the time and/or value scales, but it makes for a problem when looking at lots of charts and the "live data" indicator for the chart has also been removed.

Could we please have something like an arrow on the right hand side if the chart is live but have the arrow missing if price is off screen to the right?

Many thinks for your consideration and last reply.
