Is there a way to set values for the Chart DOM settings per chartbook instead of globally?

This is mostly in regards to Max Bid/Ask Depth Pulling/Stacking Levels. I'm running multiple trading systems on different chartbooks that utilize this and would like to set the values for each chartbook separately.

No, but what you can do is use another instance of Sierra Chart with its own Chart DOM settings:

This would be an extremely useful feature! I know I personally prefer different settings depending on each symbols liquidity. I also like to change the "recent bid ask volume timeout in milliseconds" for different symbols. Please work on this.

How can we not set chart dom settings on a per dom basis ??
I have many DOMS and certainly don't want the same settings for NQ or ES dom.

And I can't use multiple instances: dom is overlaying data from several charts within the same instance.

Please implement this.

There is no chance this will be implemented. Completely out of the question and is not going to happen. You need to use another instance of Sierra Chart.

Can data from a chart in one instance, be overlaid in a chart in another instance?
If not then multiple instances won't help.

Simple use case: On the ES DOM or chart, I display an indicator that calculates values from pulling/stacking data from both ES and NQ.
This calculation is dependent on the "maximum number of Bid/Ask Market Depth Pulling/Stacking levels" setting, and I certainly need a different setting for ES or NQ as the volatility is so different.

Can data from a chart in one instance, be overlaid in a chart in another instance?

From your Use Case we assume you are referring to the indicator data and not the symbol data.

There is not a built-in method to get information for a study from one instance to another instance. But, it can be done using ACSIL and writing out the information from one instance and reading it in on another. Refer to the information for custom studies starting here:
