Support suggestion: provide an overview of SC/Broker/CME interactions

Dear SC Support:

You provide very detailed support documents. I think it would be helpful as a customer to have an overview of the interactions between SC, my broker and CME. I'm imagining a one page diagram of the SC software showing its interactions with the other players (in my case Interactive Brokers and CME).

I think such a diagram might lighten your support load by giving customers a basic understanding of the why of setup as opposed to the what. For example, it might answer questions such as these:

Why would IBKR ever agree to allow you to communicate orders for them?
Why would CME ever accept orders from you claiming to be on behalf of IBKR?
Why is it necessary for IBKR to know my SC account name?
How much data flows from SC back to TWS? For example, if I establish a position in SC will that be reflected in my IBKR account?
Can I take advantage of your superior data inside TWS?
What is the function of a clearing firm (FCM)? Does IBKR have its own, captive CFM?

This is not within the scope of our support. We do not even know the answers to some of these questions.

This is going to have absolutely no difference whatsoever on support load. Most of these questions we are never even asked.

We would not even waste our time with this with a broker like Interactive Brokers.
