I understand that Volume Profile value area is calculated starting with the point of control and comparing one row up versus one row down. Is there a way to calculate it by adding the two rows above versus the two rows below? I believe this is the more standard definition. Also is there a way to optimize the value area calculation as the Motive Wave platform does by using the fewest volume bars possible? |

Counting 2 levels at a time is only supported with TPO Value Area Lines. Not Volume Value Area Lines. No, and we do not understand the purpose of this as it is very fast already: Also is there a way to optimize the value area calculation as the Motive Wave platform does by using the fewest volume bars possible?
