Updating global symbol setting using IB data

I am receiving Interactivebrokers futures-their data continues to come in with original symbols so for the next step: Changing Symbols of a Chart what symbol do I use for example ( sp500 futures) for the chart? There is no charting using the original symbol so I am totally confused

IB is changing their futures symbols. Replace GLOBEX with CME in the futures symbol. So the ES-202212-GLOBEX symbol is now ES-202212-CME. NQ-2022212-GLOBEX is now NQ-202212-CME. EUR-202212-GLOBEX is now EUR-202212-CME, etc.

To find out what symbols to use go to File >> Find Symbol >> Futures and then find what is the current symbol to use for a particular futures market. The futures with new symbols for intraday ES/NQ charts download less than 1 month of data is that correct?

Yes. IB only provides 30 days of intraday data.
