"Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Days To Load for Intraday Chart Data Type"

Setting this to 2 days starts a chart's data on Sunday at 18:00 (it's now early in Wednesday's session):
> 2 full sessions' data is on the chart now (Monday's & Tuesday's) + Wednesday's partial session.

Setting this to 3 days starts the chart's data on Sunday at 18:00 again, not Thursday at 18:00 as expected.

"Chart Settings >> Session Times >> Weekend Data" is set to "Do Not Load Weekend Data."

What am I missing? How can I get 3 days to load starting from Thursday at 18:00?

You are misunderstanding the setting. You need to refer to the documentation here:
Chart Settings: Days to Load for Intraday Chart Data Type (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Load Data Limiting Method: Days to Load menu)

It has no consideration of any skipped days.

Thank you very much! I probably should have stated this is for CME futures (market is closed from Friday at 17:00 to Sunday at 18:00).

Incidentally, using a setting of 4 days starts the chart's data on last Wednesday at 18:00.
> Which means the weekend data was skipped in this case providing 4 full sessions: Thursday, Friday, Monday, and Tuesday
> This is contrary to what's stated at the link provided in your post

Had the weekend days not been skipped, the data would have (theoretically) started on Friday at 18:00 and the 4 days would have been Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Only Monday & Tuesday data would be on the chart since there's no Saturday or Sunday session.

Related, the setting for "loading/not loading" weekend data does affect the data that's loaded.

I'm trying to find consistency in behavior so I can write some code (and hopefully avoid a bunch of workarounds).

Thanks again for your help!
