Sierra Update options are not working

When I try to update sierra from Help menu Download Current version, Download prerelease or Download previous version, it shows me that the installer is downloaded and I can proceed with installing. Then it asks me if I want to save chartbooks, I click on save all then sierra closes, and nothing happens. The installer window doesn't come up. I see no running instance or process in windows task manager. It's frustrating because most of our users (in our training) can update without any problem and some have the same issue I have.

It sounds like security software is blocking the Sierra Chart installer.
