Hi support, I noticed that Sierra Chart start to use high cpu when using horizzontal ray with line widht > 1, style > 1 and extend until Future Intersection option checked. This is mostly noticeable with high number of bars and is not instantly visible. 3 or 4 lines are enough to see the problem. Tested with last version of Sierra chart and without any study on chart. Just by chance I noticed the problem. |

It is not surprising that this would be the case. You are definitely using items that take up a lot of CPU - drawings and extend line until future intersection. Our recommendation is to ensure that the Global Settings >> Graphics Settings - Global >> Other >> Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics. Refer to the following: Graphics Settings: Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
