Dear All,
I was try to manually editing the CLN4 Daily historical charts (May 20 closed 102.98,May 15 open 101.62 and May 14 closed 101.62)from menu Edit> Edit Data - Historical Chart and save, after that the daily chart reflect the change of May 20 data but not May 14 and 15 data, when I restart my Sierra Chart later and reload the error still remain to be in the chart, any methods to collect this problem.

Cheers.

Michael

If you change the prices in a historical daily data file other than for the current day, you will see those in the Historical charts for that symbol. There is no other possibility.

Try doing the editing again. However, if you re-download the historical chart data, you are going to get back the original prices from the server. And when an automatic data download occurs, the last two days are automatically downloaded and overwritten in the file.

What error is this? Post an image of the chart showing the error so we can see if we can help with that. Here are the instructions:

Cheers,

Historical Daily charts need to be fix:

1. CLN4 (May 14 closed 102.42, May 20 closed 102.96 and May 21 closed 103.85)
2. GCM4 (May 21 Closed 1292)

And by the way how I'm going to fix this issue permanently, since this happen almost everyday in any historical charts, when edit the error from my local file can only be fix the issue temporary once reload the chart from server the error remain, I can't call u to fix this thing everyday right!

Appreciate your kindly response.

We see nothing wrong. We have opened the chart for that symbol and the quotes are definitely good. This is what we would expect. Does it really make sense that inaccurate data is being provided? No it does not. You can find the settlements here:
http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/energy/crude-oil/light-sweet-crude_quotes_settlements_futures.html#tradeDate=05/20/2014

Also when examining the settlement prices in a Historical Daily chart, disable the Continuous Futures Contract feature so you are certain as to what particular contract month you are looking at. Or enable Chart >>Show Rollover Dates.
