Margin Requirement field value on "Orders And Positions" window

Is the value of this Margin Requirement field supposed to be my true account day trading margin? I use CTS T4 through Dorman, and I've been told my day trading margin is 20% of CME Initial margin requirement. However, SC shows clearly different value (much smaller) on that field on Orders And Positions window. Why that might be so? Which one is actually correct? Thanks. |

We are not sure about this. It comes from FIX tag 899 which CTS documents as: Account_Update_Report: Total margin requirement for all the positions of this account. As applied to all markets.
