Problem with Quote Board and Binance symbol settings

Hello I have a Quote board with many symbols. Lately I started trading crypto so I tried to include various binance symbols into the Quote Board but there is a problem. For the sake of simplicity I will mention two of them BTCUSDT_PERP_BINANCE and ETHUSDT_PERP_BINANCE. The tick size of these two symbols is extremely small making the TPO chart unreadable plus the loading time freezes sierra chart. So I go to Global Symbol Settings (Use custom symbol Settings Valued is selected) and I find that all binance symbols are pooled together. ETH is 1700 and BTC is 22000 so if I want a tick size of 0.01 for ETH and a tick size of 0.1 for BTC this cannot be done. Also if I choose the option in Chart Settings/Symbol Settings Auto-Set From Data Feed set to NO, when I choose another symbol from the Quote Board, the Auto-Set option turns back to YES. I have read that I can create some custom symbols but some of my charts are historical and not intraday, so it does not work. So how can this be solved? Can you create a few binance symbols apart from the pooled Binance symbol? Thanks. |

Yes you do need to create custom Symbol Settings in the Global Symbol Settings for the symbols you want to set specific settings for. This does not matter at all: I have read that I can create some custom symbols but some of my charts are historical and not intraday, so it does not work. I have created a custom symbol. If I go File-> Find Symbol, then choose it, then Open Intraday Chart it opens normally. If I choose open Historical Chart it says Download Failed and there is no Chart. Is there a way around this? I use some historical charts for my analysis. Thanks |

You need to Duplicate the settings for an existing Binance symbol to make sure you have the correct basic settings.
