It means that you are having network issues. It is not something we can fix. Refer to the information here: Data/Trading Service Connection and Symbol Issues: 1.2. Network Communication or Server Problem For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Not certain if this helps, but I've got a fairly vanilla setup and this error has been coming rather frequently in the last couple of months, particularly after I "updated" my windows 10 installion - should've learned... I'm on version 2432 |

The last two posts are from two different accounts. If this is the same person, do you have multiple accounts with us, and if you do, are you certain that you need them? With regards to the network errors, are you connecting from an office environment where they might have certain ports locked, or maybe made a change recently in this regard? For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

This is a separate account from the OP. I’m running SC from the house, and other than updating Windows (big mistake for sure) nothing else changed. I think it’s related to Windows AV, because if I turn it off - and turn off their tamper switch (forbidding windows to re-enable the AV) problems disappear.

User873130: Given what the other poster stated, are you using the Windows Firewall or Anti-Virus software? If you are, then please turn these off and see if your problem goes away. These are often the cause of the networking issues you are having. Also, as we asked above, are you connecting from a work environment or another location that might have locked down certain network components? For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
