I have custom studies that were working fine until I was forced to upgrade with my newest license renewal. My studies are 64 bit. Can I go back to a prior version where my studies worked??? |

The first thing you should try to do is update the studies by either recompiling them yourself or having the developer updating them and recompiling them for you. Otherwise, do you know what version these studies worked with? You might be able to downgrade to that version, but it depends on how old it is. Right now the oldest available version is 2204. Refer to the information at the following link for how to downgrade your software: Software Download: Full Control Rollback Procedure For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Version 2204 does not appear to be an early enough version and my custom studies still will not load. Also, reverting to this version removes the Teton Order routing as a service and places me back under Transact. This was my MAJOR concern when told I had to upgrade. I am trying to get my developer to return messages and help me get the study recompiled but I have not worked with him in almost 2 years. I have clients and was perfectly happy with the version I was using and everything was working perfectly until this was forced upon me. I am beyond frustrated!!! |

What version did you update from. You should not be having any trouble at all. A recompile would not be necessary unless you had upgraded from a version from years ago. But it does not sound like it at all since you are using Teton Order Routing. And when you say no longer work, we need more details about this. So at this point we really do not know what the problem is. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I was at a version around 1740. Also, I was with Transact and not using Teton at the time. I moved myself and all clients from Transact to Edge Clear and switched to Teton. So with Transact and version 1740(ish) everything was working fine. When I say it wont work, what I mean is I can see the study, but it is greyed out and will not let me load it as a study. I have several emails to my developer and hope to hear form him today. |

Do you have the source code for the custom studies? If we can get the code from you we can make the necessary adjustments and recompile it for you. Not a problem. Who was the developer? Maybe we can get in contact with them ourselves. We will help as much as we can with this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thank you!!!! I should have asked for the source code before, but I didn't, unfortunately. I just heard back from him since my last update. I will try and get the source code for this type of issue going forward. Thanks for your understanding. |

Just get us the source code from them, and we will handle the rest. If we have the source code we can work this all out for you and you do not have to ask them for anything more. Very important you have the source code. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
