Changing number of rows in worksheet

I have been using a worksheet in which I placed 11,000 in the number of rows. I am now changing some things about this worksheet and I want to change the number of rows to 100. I made the change and when I close out the chartbook and later load it up again it still shows 100 as the number of rows but when I scroll down it still has over 11,000 rows with data. I thought it would be faster to not have all those unnecessary rows. How can I make the change effective? Thanks

The data in those rows below 102 are left over and not updated nor used. You can delete these data by highlighting row 11002, scrolling up to row 103, and with the Shift key pressed, highlight row 103. Then press Delete.
