I would like to ask if there is a simple way of having year lines in the charts because in the scale if i,m in a daily chart the month and the year is colored in a black box.So if we are scrolling fast we have to stop to see where is a specific year. The grid does not support years and the timeline is for intraday. you already have the bar selection and we can select 252 bars that can emulate a trading year but starts from the present day if we had a way to specify a starting date that bar selection could do the job of having year lines. The other way would be to differentiate year from months in the scale but i f think that would be more difficult to do.

Use a 12 month interval for the Vertical Grid. In other words, set the following in Chart Settings >> Grid: - Vertical Grid Interval Type: Months - Vertical Grid Interval Value: 12 For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
