Hi thank you for the information.

In my case, I am going to wait until I have my trading account properly funded in order to fall under the non-professional category.

Could you please provide me a direct link on instructions setting up alerts for the Trade DOM? I'm looking to add alerts for when contracts exceed my desired amount.

You can not set an alert directly on the Trade DOM.

What exactly is the alert you want to create? We are not sure we understand what you are looking for when you state that you want "to add alerts for when contracts exceed my desired amount".

For example if there’s a 100 contracts on the buy or sell volume i’d like to get an alert for that. I apologize for the misunderstanding I thought it would be found through Trade DOM settings.

Are you wanting to check against the Best Bid and Best Ask or against any Bid/Ask Market Depth?

Or are you looking for the actual traded Bid/Ask volumes? If so, then are you wanting per price or for an entire bar?

Hi John,

Thank you for your response. I have a new issue I am encountering with the trade DOM. I have attached two screenshots showing my issue. As you can see, when I make a BUY order & use the flatten function to end the trade it shows the opposite of which direction I traded in that moment(SELL instead of BUY). Can you please guide me on how I can fix the flatten function to represent the current direction being flattened?

What you are seeing is correct. When you go to flatten a position the opposing market order is sent to offset your position. Therefore, when you have Buy position and you flatten it, the way it is done is by sending a market Sell order for the same quantity.
