Trading DOM Issue

I pulled up the Trading DOM for the ES and simulated a 2 lot trade. The P&L column shows double what the tick value should be. For example each tick is showing quadruple what it should be. For a 2 lot each tick should report $25.00, but it is showing $50.00. Each tick per lot on the ES is $12.50. I executed a trade for 2 lots and each tick was showing $50.00. The trade stopped out at 2 points (8 ticks) and shows a $400.00 loss whereas it should have been a $200.00 loss. Any idea what I need to adjust?

Thanks,
Scott Perry

You are not looking at Currency values. It sounds like Points. You need to set the format to Currency value in Chart >> Chart Settings:

I set it to "currency" and it shows currency, but on the DOM it still shows the points.

The P&L on the DOM displays correctly, but what I am referring to is the P&L column, which will show you profit or loss calculated for example it should be showing what the profit would be if the price moved a point. So if I had 1 contract and the price moved 4 ticks it should show $50.00. I use it on a CL chart and it works fine, but on my ES it does not. This is the column in the price ladder.

I have read all of the information many times trying to understand why it is doubling the numbers. Attached is the chart again with some circles explaining what the issue is. If you'd like to look at my charts in simulated mode when the market is in session at anytime (even Sunday afternoon) please let me know and you can connect.

You just need to change the profit/loss format. Please refer to this image:

Thank you very much for helping me out with this issue.

Let me say that what you all have developed with Sierra Chart and your willingness to keep the price down as low as you have is a great service to the trading world. In my opinion this is the best charting software out there. I have never understood why it seems the trading community has not picked up more on the value and technological advances of this charting package. I have to run Ninja Trader along side my Sierra due to a special entry indicator I use (the Prediction Point Trading "Box"). However, Ninja Trader is world's behind what you guys have. If the PPT Box could function on Sierra I would have the "Holy Grail" of trading using Sierra.

Thanks for all you do and provide!

Thank you for the comment. Please contact Prediction Point Trading and see if they can develop the Box study of theirs for Sierra Chart.

If they need help, they can use one of the developers here:
