I want to plot certain values, e.g., the High or Low, for x bars ago, e.g, 3 days ago. I want the value plotted on the current bar, e.g., day.

You can do this but not based upon bars but Days and other time periods. Use the Previous OHLC-Variable Period study. We did previously answer this question for you. Yes, I saw you answered, but that doesn't provide the results I want. Example, if I want "x" to be 5. I would like to plot the H and L from 5 days ago on today; Going back in time, the H and L plotted on yesterday's "bar" would be from 6 days ago from today. Forward in time, the H and low from 4 days ago would be plotted in the future tomorrow, 1 day; from 3 days ago, the day after tomorrow, 2 days. The result would be a H line and a low line of "points" on each day from 5 days in the past and projected from today 5 days in the future. |
