Hello, I am currently using a Footprint chart where I have the Daily OHLC study and I'm using the HL Avg subgraph to display a horizontal straight line for the 'halfback' of the day at any given time. What I would like to do is have that line more like the Line On HL Avg Graph Draw Type. First off, I'm not exactly sure this is correct but based on what I read, it would appear this is what I needed.

I set the Graph Draw Type to Line HL Avg from Chart >> Graph Draw Types, but now I'm unsure of what to do next. How do I get this line to display on my footprint chart?

See attached example chartbook for 2 possible solutions.

Hello, I actually wanted something like what I've attached in my document - a horizontal line that moves as each bar is formed/closed - please see attached 'Mid' where I've traced the line in red as well under the gray line that it is Mid.

a horizontal line that moves as each bar is formed/closed

So change the drawstyle of the appropriate line to stair-step instead of line....

Thank you - I see it in your last tab (Daily OHLC). When I change the other 3 tabs - Halfback to Stair Step, it isn't working - it remains a horizontal line. I took your study settings from the last tab and created a new study on my chartbook for Daily OHLC and mimic'd the same settings but it didn't work either. Any idea why?

Do you think I can send you my chartbook and you can update it for me? Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Please see attached - 3rd tab (Footprint). I have study ID7 (DailyHiLo) which has Halfback as one of the Subgraphs. You will see it on the footprint chart as a horizontal line.

Thank you

I cannot see the chartbook unless you make it public.

Here you go - again, 3rd tab (Footprint). I have study ID7 (DailyHiLo) which has Halfback as one of the Subgraphs. You will see it on the footprint chart as a horizontal line.

Yes, sorry I forgot about this.
You need to set Graph High and Low Historically to yes.

I like the color palette you've used in the chartbook, very easy on the eye.
