Hi,

Few months ago, I created a "Spreadsheet System/Alert" study to mark some special bars. At that time, I thought 16 formula columns is more than enough. Now, I need more than that.

Can I just select setting and increase the number of formula columns of the old spreadsheet from 16 to 25 ?

Thanks.

Yes you can but you need to be aware that the starting column for the studies outputted to the Spreadsheet will be shifted further to the right to allow room for the additional formula columns.

If you change the Number Of Formula columns, all formulas referencing formula columns will need to be edited.

all formulas referencing formula columns will need to be edited.
Can you give an example of why this would be the case.

We would expect only the formulas referencing the study data columns beginning at the previous AA column would need to be edited, since the new formula columns are to the right of the existing unchanging formula columns.

I should have said 'all existing formulas referencing Formula Columns will need to be edited.
Formula references do not follow the insertion of new columns.
