Hi,

I have just downloaded the latest version of SC 1115. I have since noticed that on one of my charts all of the "ray" lines which have been drawn using the ray tool, have moved from being horizontal to vertical. However if i look at the chart where the rays are being copied from, all of the rays are horizontal which is what they are supposed to be. Please advise.

Thks

We cannot duplicate this problem.

Redraw the Ray drawing.

Maybe there is also an out of order timestamp. Refer to this to help topic:

This does not help, when i re-draw the rays they are still being copied onto the linked chart vertically as opposed to horizontally. I have however looked into this again, and have noticed that if i change the chart from a 60min chart to a 5 min chart the problem is irradiated. However I need the 60min chart to work from, so this is only a temporary fix. Does this help to pinpoint the issue?

Provide images of the charts containing the Rays . Both the source chart and also on the destination chart. Here are the instructions:

At this point we do not have much idea what the problem is. Never heard of anything like this before. We might have to get your Chartbook and test this. But we suspect that this is a chart data problem in which case we might not see it.

Further to your request, please see the 2 attached charts. The source chart is the one ending in image number 2081. As you can see there are 2 rays, one going vertically and one going horizontally. The 2nd chart is the destination chart. On this chart both of the rays are going vertically? I have simplified the charts but on my working chart there are significant numbers of rays which are going vertically, when they should be horizontal. Thks.

The problem is the two points for the Ray drawing are too close together and span only a single bar on the 60 minute chart.

The easiest solution is to delete that drawing and to use the Horizontal Ray tool instead.
