Can we add : Number of Bars To Calculate in the Volume by Price indicator

I use it with multiple profiles based on bar count with bar settings a 1 , I put my charts at 1 day as it is the lowest you can go , but still its too much load for a 6 sec chart. I also tried the option with From start date - time + Fixed time lenght. settings at today 12pm to today 18pm with a 6 sec time period , the profile does not plot I only need to see like 14 bar in my charts. So anything before that is not usefull for me So I wonder if its possible to add a max bar calculation on the study or to load only the last 2h ?? Or is their another way I can cut the cpu requirement when I only need a few bar on a small time frame ? my study is at 800 ish MS atm. thanks in advance. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-02-16 20:15:08

There is an existing option to for the Volume Graph Period Type of One Period Based on Bar Count. From everything you state, this should do exactly what you are asking for. Sorry, but we are still confused as to what exactly you want to have changed. On the one hand, it sounds like you want be able to load less than 1 day's worth of bars into the chart. But, we do not understand the reference to the Volume by Price and Numbers Bars. The Volume by Price, in particular, does not use all the data that is loaded when it performs it's calculations, just the area for which it being calculated. And the Numbers Bars, although there are some background tasks that require all bars, mostly is calculating the data only for the bars that are displayed at that time. Please let us know what exactly you are wanting to have so we can better understand. When I use on a 3 sec or 6 sec chart, An I input it to plot on every BAR - it take too much resources ( it make my INSTANCE lag ) As I only need to see like 14 bar on my chart , I wonder if its possible to make it calculate only the last 30 bar or 2h. so I can use a lot of those small Time fram , without having to lag my instance + I will be able to decrease the Refresh rate of the charts too. . ( ATM it become imposible to use for me with less than 8s per bar. Did not even tried Tick chart yet ) I have a 5800X and a GTX 1070 ti. Number of Bars To Calculate : 100 --- I put that example in the title because you add this option on the MA study Weight Volume Move-Adjusted and If fix all the lag problems.
