filled order dissapeares

hi, i got a serious problem which i cant handle. the problem is that when i put an order (with sl and pt) the parrent order, after filling, dissapears from the chart. i dont know how to make it visible, i tried somewhere in the TRADE - SIMULATION FILL SOURCE - but it doesnt work. there is a simulation fills clicked and it cannot be unclicked. please see the pictures bellow for better understanding. |

We need to know what the Position Quantity and Average Price is. This can be seen by selecting Trade >> Open Trade Window for Chart. Provide another image showing that window as well.

the position quantit is 1 contract, and the average price? i dont know what u mean, but it doesnt show in the trade window. it seems like if the parent order was not filled at all, but it is filled, i put in in the chart, with both pt and sl, (viz the previous pictures), then the price touches it, and the parrent order dissapears, the childs (pt and sl) stay visible.. it is really weird

The chart shows that there is no position. Press the Flatten button on the Trade Window, to cancel all the orders flatten the position of there is one. Submit a new order with Attached Orders. it still doesnt work. anytime i put a parrent order and the market fills it, it dissapears, for no reason. what is interesting is that it happens only in one chartbook, in others everything goes right |

what is even more interesting is that the order is visible one the 30 min timeframe, but not on the 2 min where i put the executions. - viz the pictures what is wrong with that please? |

The problem has to do with the Simulation Fills Source: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TradeMenu.html#SimulationFillsSource One of them is set the Simulation Fills The other chart is set to Replay/Backtest Fills Since both charts are replaying they must be on Replay Fills and it is not possible to change the simulation fills source. i dont do do anything special, and yeah, i know that both charts must be on Replay Fills. for example now, today, it works ok, it is on REPLAY FILLS and the filled parrent order is visible, (viz screenshot). Some days agoo it was not working (and on the trade menu there was a sign at Simulation Fills option and it was not possible to click on the Replay Fills)

ok, again, there is the same problem with the parrent order dissapearing - there is SIMULATION MODE FILLED and i cant click on replay.. please see the picture with the comment

Not sure if this will help, but update Sierra Chart to the latest release with Help >> Download Current Version. In the next release, you will be able to change the Simulation Fills Source back to replay if the chart is replaying and it is not already set to Replay/Backtest.

yes, the chart was atively replying - i was doing backtest on replay data - but as i showed you there was the SIMULATION FILLS mode which, for some reason, cannot be changed to REPLAY FILLS so that the parrent order always dissapears and it all seems like if there was no entry.. this is really weird |

We are not sure why this is happening. However, in the latest release, 1129, you can change the Simulation Fills Source back to Replay for the chart if it is replaying.
