what is the symbology to retrieve futures options data from Denali Eurex SC doesnt need to do any "support" / develop anything additional - just let me know the synbology (its principles how to put options symbol together) and i will assemble the symbols and enter them manually in SC |

You really do not understand, the facts. Sierra Chart does not even process options data from EUREX. And there is no symbology that exists, at all with EUREX data. EUREX has no concept of symbology. Securities are identified, through a much more complex means and multiple subcomponents. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. your statement is incorrect regarding: "(EUREX has no concept of symbology. Securities are identified, through a much more complex means and multiple subcomponents.)" the same as the above is in effect to e.g. CME - BUT i ALREADY know the principles (also based on multiple and dynamically plugged COMPONENTS) of the symbology underlying CME futures options and can put together the symbol for any option on the fly, myself manually in my head - thats what i am doing on a regular basis - i dont use the SC UI for selection of option symbols on CME, since i find the SC UI for option selection inconvenient due to poor design - i assemble all components of the option symbol in my head and then enter it manually in SC to pull the data in chart with studies - works beautifully other "facts u dont understand" is that Analytics (within/based on SC) on Options data are VITAL for consistently profitable Futures trading (i dont trade options, but know the instrument inside out and use the insights from it to trade Futures) ps: btw options are not "securities", they are "derivatives" Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-02-15 22:46:09
